my first MOT is due at the end of the month, and i don't know whether to take it to the main dealer or just any garage. What do you guys usually do?

Just my opinion, but if you have your car serviced by a Lexus dealer, they should have giving the car a good look over last service, then get an MOT done with them, if they find any problems you can throw it back at them ( well excluding bulds etc ).

If your cars not serviced by a main dealer, then find yourself a good independent garage local to you, do try keep away from some of doggy looking back street garages ,as they can sometimes find work that's not needed (if you get my meaning) ...good luck :) .

thanks for the replies guys. I think i'll definately take it to the dealer. It will still be under warranty (just), so i better make the best of that incase of any mishaps. :D
