Rx300 For The Day

Well when I picked up the RX300 this am it was light, but when I came to Drive it home I realised it had factory fitted illuminated scuffs, in Orange :)

I think they look really nice in Orange

yep, cool arnt they, i like the way the dash illuminates, and the little lights behind the door grips.......and the electric opening and closing boot....................................

had much fun with the electric boot, wonder if there's a mod so you can cut people in half with it??

I did find the transmission noisy in this car and you can really hear the engine most of the time. maybe its because its only done 500 miles or because this is the first 4X4 ive ever driven!!

but it is growing on me :)

I also like how the wing mirrors point down when you put it in reverse.

i agree very cool looking sills,

however why is it that lexus provide illuminated sills for the is200 in BLUE when the rest of the lighting is in ORANGE like these ?????

maybe they have run out of blue ones now :)

I actually prefer the blue ones they show up alot better in the dark

but thats just my tuppence

i agree the blue ones look great, just like the dash did in my golf 4 motion, i just wished lexus had decided on a colour and stuck with it,

blue all round would have been class IMHO

Thanks Matt :) I already use that technique :)

but its a shame you have to put it in P and make sure your foot is not on the brake first

the RX just does it when you hit R
