OK This may of been posted lots of times & probably should of used the search which i did, cant find specific answers.

Anyway i need new front tyres soon for the Altezza AT. Do anyone think Toyo any good still? I used it on my old Mazda 323F 2.0 V6 ZXi (16 inch mazda rims)& found them pretty good. My IS200 got Goodyear ones, cant remember what ones.

How much would you spend on tyres? I dont want to spend too much, its only original 17inch Lexus IS200 wheels.

thanks

Tyres and brakes are two areas where I wouldn't compromise.

Rember that the tyres are the only thing that acutally connects your car to the ground!

The best performance tyres for the car seems to be either the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 or the Toyo Proxies T1-R.

Just get whichever is cheaper or available. Both have great reviews.

I recently bought a set of 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's for £440 inc fitting and balancing in size 225/40/18. Yours should be cheaper because of the smaller wheels.
