Gs300 Subwoofer What Size

Does anybody know the subwoofers power and make?? from a mk1

It's ten inch and I'm pretty sure it's made by Pioneer

EDIT: Pioneer 88160-3A12D, 2 Ohm. Doesn't mention power rating.

If you're after one I've got a fully working one sat around.

I know..lol Its comming to me.. its 12" but I just wondered what wattage it was as I am looking at sticking a amp on it and sticking it in a ported box..

I know mine was 12" as tried a 10" JBL and it fell through the hole. So now have a sony 12" as it's the only one that fits for depth. the UK GS must be different size to the Aristo.

You won't need a big amp as ther've only got a tiny magnet and don't take much to drive them. I only have a small two chanel alpine amp on my sony sub and its fine. But it's all changing soon so will all be coming out and new going in.

well i plan on amping the sub with a Alpine V12 Series MRV-T320 amp then getting some nice 6x9 on the parcel shelf powered by a Sony XM-250X amp

will see how we go with that.. lol

Mine is defintely a 10", as it's sat next to me and was replaced with a 10" kenwood.

Do you get a different headunit in the Aristo as well?

Yes, depending on year of manufacture, you either get a system with a CD changer in the boot or a single CD/Tape/Radio head unit, they all come with traffic report channel - no good in the UK though, an 8 speaker feq control as well as a Surround Enviroment control, this is allow all 10 speakers to kick but again depends on the year on how many speakers, there seems to be alot of small changes as year by year.

ya i just ripped it out and put 2 kicker l7 8s they dont need a big box so you dont take up that much room in the trunk high low converter for rca jacks sounds nice
