I have just purchased am immaculate IS 200 sports, immaculate that is except for the glove compartment door which has an annoying scratch across it. I would be most obliged if anyone has any info on were a could get my hands on another... thanks Steve....

I've seen a few IS200's in scrap yards so that might be a good place if you don't want to spend too much, but a Lexus/Toyota dealer should have easy access to replacements for a price.

If the scratch is not too big (whatever this means) it is possible to remove it with a heat gun. Very carefully and it will remove like every scratch on polyplastics. Just give it a try.

You could always have it repaired which doesn't cost too much and maybe the cheaper option rather than buying a new one.

I had the side of my dash repaired as it left holes after removing a car kit cradle and it cost me £70 at Lexus Nottingham.
