Who was the character who did daft stuff like jumping into a lions den with ham trousers on and using a chainsaw in a speaker box etc - used to crack me up but can't recall his name ...

Definitely Arnie was the best character

"Uzi 9 millimetre!"

I saw them at Oscars nightclub in Warminster when I was a Yoof. It wasn't even Arnie, just some bloke with a leather jacket and some shades B) .

Steve Wright looks like he's wearing a dodgy Groucho Marx disguise though in real life, but he still rules. It's sad when you're loving Radio 2 tunes though (i'm feelin it) :zee:

radio 1 gone down hill big style since the demise of mark and lard

best show oh there

ahh good days

I think radio 1 has improved. They play a lot more new music. Be it new bands or new DJs / producers. They also do a lot of live music, live gigs and cover the main festivals. It does sometimes in the day time get repetative but thats because of the playlist they have to adhere to.

Mark and Lard were funny at first. But it was always the same jokes year in year out.
