Xbox Live... Heeeeelp

O.k lol after using up my 6 gig download limited in a week...lol I have now upgraded.. so I bought xbox live today.. :D great.. apart from I cant get it to work.. I am using the ethernet card from the pc to the xbox and Its finding the cable fine but then keeps saying might be a dns error.. so I got the prim and secon dns figures from tiscali but i am still having problems.. Is it due to my network settings or what... somebody please help before i start on the fags again...

are you trying to use internet connection sharing on your PC mate?

If so - are you actually sharing your internet connection on the PC?

Make sure you are using a cross-over cable.

Also some firewalls can effect the connection - I had to disable mine to be able to connect :winky:

Its o.k guys I sorted it.. The firewall blocked it without me noticing when it first probed the settings.. Found it after a while.. so been on PGR for a bit..
