Misty Headlamp

I have a Lexus IS200 Sport but i have notice that the drivers Front Headland has condensation on the in side. Can you give me any idea why this has happened and how i can rectify it!

assuming there is no crack or hole in the glass the most likely cause is the seal that bonds the glass to the unit is incomplete and allowing moist air in, also check where the bulb fitment enters the light (these are standard lights, right?) there should be a rubber grommet there is this fitting ok? there is a post on the forum explaining how to dismantle the headlights and remove and refit the glass, i can't remember where though.

I had the same problem, car was three years old and the dealer changed it for free. :D

I looked at a demo A**i A4 at the weekend, the fog lamp was full of condensation. I pointed it out to the salesmen and rather than saying we will sort that he said "they are designed like that, they are not sealed and have slots to let air in". Clever design me thinks :(

Now that is clever, rain cleans inside as well as outside,what will they think of next

A day before my MOT the nearside headlamp misted up. I was obviously concerned but the following morning it had cleared back to normal. It last happened about a year ago. I should add the car passed the mot.
