I'm guessing 'cos it don't work :tomato::hehe: The car could've been bought with a known fault which could be considered a cheap fix and the price knocked down accordingly??

true but if thats the case I hope Phil got a good deal - possible cooling fault - 1 key etc

paid *just* over £1000 for it..considering it has 10 months MOT and 6 months tax, i'd say it wasn't a bad price.

the cooling fault is definatley the thermostat, knew about it, the only thing that can make an enigne run too cool is the stat, simply because its not closing when it should, so its no big deal. the other fault i knew about was a blowing exhaust, that was sorted yesterday, just a joint blowing, total cost - £25
