im going to elvington tomorrow bit of fun

just to see what improvements i get out of the car as time goes on

does anyone know what kind of times i should be getting with is200 standard?

anyone done a standard one before?

also anyone got any tips as i have never done it before

they swear by 4000 revs at start line then rip the clutch up and go

no - I know nothing about drag racing, but I am sure I read a post by Dave Ellen, where he said these sort of starts ruined his clutch (he was doing it to test his racelogic unit :unsure: ).

what are the dangers of doing this?

well today was a good laugh did 26 runs in all...as was quiet

fastest time was 16.4 3

that with the 19's on

will see what i get next time...with other bits on :D

60ft was 2.306

and fastest speed was 89

although these times could be better every one was slow due to quite a strong head wind

think i have done ok...was gradually getting faster through the day

think with experience might also get better times :D

muchos fun though!

recommend to anyone...just because car isnt a sub 12 rocket..doesnt mean just as much fun

Not having a go Thom - we've not had many people get "proper" timings, so not go much to measure against.

any else with timings?

been asking around no1 seems to know of a standard one

someone mentioned about zee's getting 15's but i think that is with supercharcer...although not too sure

was only ever first attempt so not claiming to be a whizz at it
