Dudes,

Am thinking of buying new discs & pads and changing them myself. Have seen them for sale on eBay.com the American site.

Has anyone ever bought these and if so were they OK, and secondly, is this a hard job to do??

The reason why i`m doing this is, when under normal braking i can feel a vibration through the car (plus the brakes haven`t been changed in a couple of years). No warning light on the dash though!

Any help you guys could give would be great.

Cheers dudes :tomato:

I changed my own on the IS

was easy almost too easy, had a bit of a problem undoing the nuts on the caliper, but a long breaker bar soon sorted them out.

basically

take the wheel off

take the top off your brake fluid tank,

push back the brake pads

take off the caliper and you can now remove the discs

pop the new ones on and change the brake pads, and reverse everything else

should take you about an hour or so
