Security ??

I now that the IS200 has good security and I've read several different test reports on it and the Lexus cars always come up top.

If not top very close..

So my question is...

Does anyone know or hear of any IS's being stole or in fact any Lexus being stole or attempted to been stolen..?? :?:

I've never heard of a IS200 being stolen apart from the one from our forecourt because someone stole the keys from a salesmans desk

No the vehicle was luckily located by the fuzz in a back street of Liverpool.

The guy who went to collect it had to have a police escort out of Liverpool because the thieves still has possesion of the keys.

3 weeks later they tried to steal it again but didn't realize the keys they had were useless because we had changed the locks and recoded the remotes

By the looks of things not to many stolen ..

Is this because there or less Lexus on the road than BMW or just great security..

I made a 'Sheesh - it had to be a scouser' type comment, in a self depracating way.

Rodders, not realising that I am a scouser, and that I was taking the 'michael' myself - edited my comments out.

oooh - Birkenhead (and the Wirral as a whole) - are not part of Liverpool.

Some people in the Wirral are quite adamant on that point.

BTW - I am from liverpool originally - moved to Birkenhead 10 years ago.

Still class myself a scouser though (and proud of it).
