Just got the car back. They have replaced every sensor and also a connection block which apparently could get water entering into it.

Yes they have offered me compensation of a free service which I have taken up.

To be honest all I really want is for the car to be ok,but Lexus Wolverhampton have gone that one step further. Even the Boss of hartwell Toyota/Lexus came to apologise which was nice of him.

Apart from not wanting the faults occuring in the first place I cannot fault the backup/repair side even to getting to call the service manager by his first name.

RE the air suspension problems

I drive a Landcruiser amazon with Air suspension which also went wrong at 4 months old and 6,500 on the clock.

Car spent a month in the garage waiting for new sensors as Toyota had a "shortage" - probably fitting them in all those RXs - at least they sorted me out with a courtesy car in the mean time

The helpfully lady at Toyota UK thought the delay was beacuse Toyota had been having a lot of problems with the sensors and had therefore upgraded the part and there was a delay getting the parts from the supplier

I've had one go as well - dealer said it was the first he had seen.
