Anyone watch Real Story on BBC 1.

That was scary, the state of the roads and that new stuff they put down that is like a wet road when it's dry

And do they care, not really we put signs up saying slippery surface, but who pays attention to them in the dry.

With all the mone they collect from road users and 47% of councils underspend on the road budget. Where did that money go that they said was for the roads in your Council Tax bill.

they use it to pay for all the accidents? on the "new" road, dont they?....things do look grim for us motorists. next time i pay my tax, i will pass over my money, stick my thumb up the cashiers nose and say sorry "slippery surface".

one thing I've noticed about the new surfaces is that they don't drain as well either, but they didn't mention that last night
