The clock works via the Sat/Nav. Hence your Sat/Nav  not being active your clock comes on at 09.00 every time you start the car.

I don't think thats how ours works as I have taken the satnav disc out and the clock is running normally just on Japan time. Any ideas?

Mine always comes on at 9.o'clock as I said, but if yours is on normal time but just out os sync. Then disconnect your Battery and see what time comes up?

If for example it comes on at 8.O'clock then you will have to take the Battery lead off at 5 to 8 then put it back at exactly 8 O'clock then it will stay in sync with your correct time.

But I am positive it is run through the Sat/Nav.
