Am I A Record Holder?

Recommended Posts

I took delivery of my brand new rx300 last Tuedsday evening. :D

30 hours later I drove it into a bollard and dented the rear passenger door quite badly. :o

It had 140 miles on the clock and I was just wondering if that was a record

Has anyone else stuffed their RX in less than 30 hours/140 miles?

Once on business in warsaw I was taken to a chinese restraunt in the evening by one of the managers. He drove his company vauxhall vectra (at the time an impressive car over there) which he'd had a couple of days I think. He scrapped most of one side down a bollard while parking outside the restraunt. Don't think that beats your record but it was embarassing.

Some years ago a Saab covertible was delivered to my office for a test drive. As I was reversing out of the parking place on full lock I stuffed the front wing into a lamp post. Had to buy it after that. :crybaby:

A few years ago I issued a new Astra to an employee, who returned it a couple of hours later smashed up at the front. He had driven it into the back of someone who had just got their car back from the body shop after someone had driven into the back of it.

The company had a seriously bad track record and struggled to get insurance at all, this was our record.
