Recommended Posts

Hello peeps

Another typical newbie question coming, one i didn't think a search would find an answer to(waits to be corrected, lol) but...

I am picking up a 'Royal Sapphire Blue' IS200 today and wanted to know what the difference was between this and 'Strathcaron Blue'(spelling  ).

Cheers all :winky:

There are tow different shades of blue, i think they changed it after 2003 (not 100% when) the newer blue is darker and looks better IMO :)

Just read about a third,Montrose Blue,lol

I am doing a search now for fear of getting a lashing for being lazy :mat: :winky:

A picture comparison would be good, side by side to see the difference B)

Royal Sapphire was up to 2001. (The first and best blue)....

Strathcaron 2001 to 2004....(bit wishy washy :) )

Montrose Blue 2004 on (( the darkest blue, but possibly not quite so metalic)
