Jvc Dvd Headunit.

Recommended Posts

here is my jvc dvd headunit fitted now.

Its has has loads of features and plays dvd,s.

I would recommend one if your thinking of changing over to an aftermarket one.

It has extra pre-outs for amps and more screens(rear headrest next).

Can you tell me who provided the adapter-plate to install your

radio or is this an oem piece

tnx very much.

This is the same adapter as I have, altough mines not installed yet.

Have had in though and it was very easy to install.

I got mine from eBay

Linky

I thought £23.99 was pretty resonable.

Hope this helps.

I paid just under £400 for it and it was fitted free, i had the adaptor plate in the car when i bought it and you can fit single or double din headunits in it.

My JVC unit uses its own in built amp as my car had a pioneer cd tuner fitted when i bought it and the wiring has been changed.

You've done well to get it recessed as much as you have!

I've seen alot of people install these, however the front stick out over 1" its a bugger to sit right!

Theft proof? It's a joke?:) They steel it and buy a front panel from another thief. It is just for you to feel safe, but the stereo is not safe. Believe me

but the face should be removable? as its better than haven it non removable

i know nothing is theft proof

I always remove the faceplate when i leave the car, its garaged at night and i dont use it for work.

the quality is good and i am going to add rear headrest screens, i have a denon amp and mb quartz components still to fit.

I needed another headunit anyway and at £400 fitted it was better than fitting an alpine/kenwood cd tuner for the same money.

look here for details
