12" Sub Needed

am looking for a 12" sub to fit in the original space in the back parcel for a 1995 aristo. i presume the previous owner in japan took it off or it never had one. i have tried a few ice places but they all dont fit into the slot.

i dont want to get a box because i need the boot space. i know one or two people have changed theirs but i need a product code or something so i can order one.

how many watts do i need ? and i may use a separate amp for the sub alone

Was the sub running Free Air?

If so you will need a sub optimised for IB (infinite Baffle) install.

just screw a peice of ready cut mdf under the parcel shelf in the boot and then place the speaker onto it from underneath and whalla you have bass in yer face.

i have a alpine 300w amp running a jbl gti 500w sub and it rocks with no rattles.

Doesnt really matter if free air or not it still kicks *****.
