Just got a quote for a dyno done at a local company (minisport) for £30 does this seem an ok price?

Also, would the printout be beneficial for when selling the car, or is it a waste of money?

I would say defininately yes or a non-standard FI car. The dyno curves back up your power & torque claims.

Definately worth it mate.

£30 seems very cheap, must be a rolling road. Make sure they set the gear ratio correct for the car.

I paid £100 + vat at Abbey Motorsport for a dyno pack when i had the s/c.

I'm getting another dyno pack done on Saturday at Thor Racing for the turbo conversion, again £100 + vat.

We charge £80 plus vat per hour for tunibg/diagnostic work, or £35 plus vat for a power run.

TDi North charges £65 plus vat per hour for tuning/daignostics, or £32.50 plus vat for a power run.

£30 could be very good or very poor depending on what you get for the money.
