Oil Cooler For Auto Gear Box

Anyone has installed an oil cooler to the Auto Gear Box? I was recommended by one of my friend to install one to protect the gear box. I have checked one of the local dealer in my country that they can custom fit the HKS oil cooler to the gear box.

I am not sure whether should i do it and is it a very major mod. Or it is just a quick install to the gear box.

You only need an oil cooler if you are FI and putting out some serious horse.

On the auto IS's an oil cooler was fitted if the car had a tow bar so it could be said that if it was under a lot of strain for a long period of time then it would be advised.

Thanks for the info and advise. It seems like I don't really need the oil cooler and could spend the money to other mod.
