Couple Of Questions

Firstly, my insurance is due for renewal soon and I am going through the usual ritual of checking around for a cheaper quote.

My car is registered as a Mk1 GS300 but cosmetically i have upgraded it to a Mk1 GS300 sport.

Do I insure it as a sport or leave as standard as the log book says.

A couple of Netbased insurers seem to list the sport model and the premium increase is about £50.

My current insurer was not fussed when I lowered the car and changed the wheels as I used the standard 'sport' items.

Secondly, does anyone know where I can get a fascia adapter plate that enables the fitting of alternative ICE head units. I would like to get a DVD/MP3 player with motorised screen that would also run SAT NAV software.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

I just changed to More Than insurance (Royal & Sun Alliance) and got a very good deal. The only question they ask about mods is are there any fitted that affect top speed or acceleration.
