Error3

Can anybody help! I,ve just had error3 come up on the cd unit. the infernal thing will not eject the last two cd,s that are left,how can i retrieve the cd,s from inside the unit short of destroying the dash.

I dont know, but if you use the search at the top of the page, am sure it has been covered B4 :D

I think you had to stick another cd in about 1cm then press eject if memory serves me correctly....don't quote me on that though! :D :D :D

Percussive maintenance seems to work for me :shruriken: (essentially tapping on the side of the console and hoping the vibrations shake the thing loose.. either that or finding a road with potholes every 2 feet -- which incidentally isn't all that hard in Bedfordshire...)

Just leave it switched off mate , after a few times stopping and starting your car it should return to normal .

If not then remove and unplug it and re- plug it back in , it should reset itself.

Just disconnect the negative terminal on the cars Battery for a few mins and then re-connect. This will cause the unit to reset itself.

Mines done this AGAIN, i think its cd's getting jamed in the bloomin thing, think the tapping has turn in to frustrated smakin and still no hope.

Indeed getting a HU for xmas now got the front panel thingy off matt, at last a working cd player yippy
