Passenger Side Full Beam Not Working?

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

Since I got the car back I noticed that the sidelights and the full beam on my passenger side head light aren't working. my sidelights have been changed to angel eyes but I realised that the bulb was broke so that problem is sorted!

My full beam still doesn't work though. I have checked the bulb and swapped it with the drivers side with no difference. I have also pulled out every fuse on the car that I can find and they are all ok. The wiring seems to be fine but I still can't get the bulb to light

Has anybody had this problem before or know what the cause may be ?????

Have you got a multimeter that you can use to check whether there is any voltage going to the connector when the full beams are switched on?

I used one ages ago when I was having HID problems to figure out whether it was a fuse problem or not...

sometimes, just looking at a fuse is not enough to see if its broken or not, you could take a known working fuse, from the working headlight and pop it in the non working fuse holder, but a multimeter would really be the best option for testing fuses and the voltage.
