Im using AVG at the moment

had enough of Norton being so demanding on my system resources

Another vote for AVG! Use it both at home and work where we have changed over from Sophos. :D

Don't like Norton - makes the average PC crawl.

Thats what i ran, then someone told me about Kaspersky.

Besides running adware programs, it detected over a dozen virus's. And yes i had the original copy of Nortons.

Try it. No ones bug free :winky:

Looks like your fully infected.

Okay, run Adware,

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Person...4-10045910.html go here download, run it, do a full scan, takes 5mins or so. you'll find hundreds if u haven't run it before

as for virus's, i suggest you put your PC on safe mode, find out the trojan names, some might need you to get a tool remover.

If i were you i'd get a good quality virus software buddy, and run a firewall!

what virus software are you running?

I highly reccommend Kaspersky - try this trial version.

http://www.kaspersky.com/trials?chapter=146481750

The free stuff above. AVG Microsoft Antispy and Ad Adware Se.

Last they found 127 Virus!

Still had probs this am so went and bought McAfee virus scan. Before installing it I ran AVG again and it found another 5. Since then it seems to be OK again, so haven't installed McAfee yet as cooking tea at the same time! :D
