My mate fitted one to his Golf Gti, myself i would be a bit warey, but he took the chance and his works fine.

i was going to hang on till they did all the lot cause mainly wanted it for the windows

You might be best having a good search around the site. There was one which Pete Scorpion had fitted to his car and then there are a few ideas against the fitting of one from Geoffers.. best search I think.

If the ECU in the kit has stall current detection, then it might be OK.
