There is a feed wire to the back of the speedo cluster. From memory it's red and yellow, but this was on my manual Altezza. To confuse matters there were 2 red/yellow wires, but only one had the speed signal. I think the other had +12v, so at least it was easy to tell the two apart.

Don't take all of this as gospel - I'm only writing from memory

I'm sure there is plenty of info on here if you do a search - it's where I got the info from

Thanks Ian..I've tried connecting the red/yellow wires at the ECU but there was no signal. If anyone could help me check the colour of the speed signal for the manual transmission as maybe it is the same colour for the auto transmission..
