Dodgy Autobox.

Looks like im taking my box out at the weekend. Its started slipping in forward drive from cold.

It may have something to do with the weather and the low oil level so I will top it up and give it a good testing first but if not, im on the garage floor dropping it out.

I haven't stripped a Jap Auto Box before. Never had the need to. I have done a few Borg Warners from Rovers and Triumphs so its not going to be to daunting.

Mine slips a little bit in frozen temps for the first 100 yards or so and then shes fine its always done it, but only in very frosty frozen mornings, any other time shes fine. I dont see it as a problem mayby needs a oil change.

I'll go with that. The boxes in the supra (very similar boxes) respond very well to complete oil changes ie not just draining it and filling it but completely removing the oil which I beleive requires removal of the oil pan and strainer.
