Rx300 Power Passenger Seats

My wife's 1999 RX300 (USA model) has 8-way power driver seat (left side) and 4-way passenger seat (right side). The passenger seat does not have control for base tilt or lumbar. This is the case for all USA RX300s but not for USA RX330s. Since UK cars have steering on right side, I thought that maybe UK cars would have 8-way power seats on both sides and that a USA car could be retro-fitted to have the same capabiltiy using UK parts. Particularly, if UK RX300s had 8-way power on both sides.

Any comments or suggestions?

guessing it is what we'd call a MK1 version of teh Rx...so can't help answer as I've only been in MK2's.... sure someone with a MK1 will be able to answer your question.

Well I would say the RX has 7 way seats not 8 but yes both front seats on the UK RX300 have lumbar and base tilt.
