Wind Noise

Hi,

At motorway speeds, how much wind noise should you have on a mark1 RX? It's very very quiet at lower speeds, but on the motorway it gets a bit noisier...

Just wondered if this is normal, or warrants further investigation :)

Sounds normal, mine is the same. It's not the most aerodynamic vehicle in the world.

Fair enough :) This is the problem with getting a new car - you start to notice all of the little noises and wonder if they are normal or not ;)

Also depends of wind speed and direction. I only notice wind noise from the mirrors, but nothing if I evaluate how usefull they are. Anyway, below 75 mph is quite smooth.

Having done a few more miles on it, it's actually very quiet. You can hear the wind noise on the mway, at around 70-80 it's not intrusive - I guess I noticed it before as the radio was off and the rest of the car is soo quiet :)
