According to reports its not as quiet as the great Honda deisel2.2.outside especially.

Am confused.

apart from being a little noisy, not so much rear leg space and lack of auto for the diesel, it suggests, in some parts, that it is above and beyond the 3 series.

They really rate the car apart from the above points, and apart from the leg space, suggest the is250 is a much better car!

Oh well.

The Times motoring section didn't give the IS220d a particularly good review either. Said the diesel engine isn't particularly good. However they really liked the petrol. You can read the full review here at:

how much do people actually listen to car jounalists?

I wouldnt. But the top gear customer survey says it all really.. stright from the horses mouth... be good to see what the IS250 comes on the TG survey next year.
