Hi all, this is for all you Techies out there:-

I have a 2004 IS and was wondering if the radio receiver supports MD changer with MD-Text or CD changer with CD-Text.

not sure i do know however that a MD player was available for the IS200, and it fitted where the trac and heat buttons are.

Think I read in the manual (yes I read the damn thing) that the TXT button you see on the head unit as it is is only for displaying text data from MDs.

The IS stereo does not support CD-Text AFAIK.

The text is only for MDs, and I also think that it only works with the Lexus MD player
