This is my 1st winter with my 1994 GS300.

I accept all cars are produce a cloud of vapour in cold conditions, but is it normal for the GS to continue to do this even after a good 20 minutes of driving? My car warms up normally (pretty quick compared to other cars I've owned) and I would normally expect the vapour to settle down?

I wouldn't worry about your vapor trail. Mine does exactly the same thing. I've noticed it now on my Stag but ive put that down to changing from a mild steel to a stainless steel exhaust. I know both cars run and behave perfectly so maybe it is just down to stainless exhausts..........unless someone knows different :D

I used to worry the same about my Supra - it was explained to me that these cars have such large exhausts that the condensation created inside them can take upto 300 miles to dry out completely when just pottering around.

The suggest test was to run the car fairly hard for 40 miles or so up the motorway, stop (not on the motorway), wait 5 mins start car again, and shouldn't see any steam...

Worked for me (thankfully) :D

Dean.
