Google Earth....

I'd really like to find the date a picture was taken on google earth, But i really dont have an idea how to find the info on the program, can any one help me with this one also does how do you go about posting a link to a place so i can post one say on here of where i live???

some of them are really old, Baghdad international for example was from an image taken before the first gulf war, cause it dont look like that now trust me.

going of the europe map, id say it was taken sometime over the spring of when op telic 1 was on......(second gulf, initial phase) id say the pictures are between dec 2003 and march 2003

i come to this coclusion due to some things ive seen in germany that could only happen around that time.

also on a certain UK airfield is parked a U2 spyplane

Ok so the reason i ask is a lot of bits of UK where updated the 5th dec this year so my example of where i work at Stansted airport is now in very good quality.....Im trying to work when it was i cant tell from the planes too many on the airport but its certainly a nice day, If you look at the bit on Stansted and then the Bishops Stortford ones you'll see what i mean.

Google earth has to be one of the best things ive seen all year!!

depends which version on pro pictures are all newer than 18 months

our Sqn was before the image was removed, cause where we were we wasnt if you get what i mean :D there was a comp on to spot Black helicopters and it showed up there with the location,
