I was bored yesterday so I thought I would change my Timing belt and Fan belt.

It all came apart really easy and went back together the same way without any problems all within an hour and a half.

Well not entirely true. The change was straight forward enough but I was disappointed to see the state my Radiator is in. It doesn't leak or cause any problems but its falling apart. I remember my Supra having the same problem but the one on my old GS was fine.

Looks like a visit to my friendly local Rad man is on the cards before to long.

Must be difficult potting those Balls with that in the way.

I can beat that though. Mine sat in the loft along with the new fan belt since I got the car in April. They both occupied one each of my emergency chairs. lol.

So much other crap on there I had trouble finding it . Helped a friend change the belt on his diesel Fiesta today. First one of the belt and chain ones I've done, as usual progress for Ford means going backwards. The belt cover now supports the engine mount, what a P.O.S. design
