Fog Lights

How do I replace fog lights on my 2001 is300?  I can't seem to get to the bulbs.  It's behind the bumper.  It seems that I would have to remove the bumper or dust cover.  I just don't want to screw anything up.  Replacing a bulb just seems too simple to take to the dealer...

Fog lights are in the boot lid :D

it is not a big job! peel back the arch liner and you have full access to the whole fog light assy, bolts u can do from the front.

expect the aluminium bulb holder to be a crumbling mess tho. If you get new ones, coat the holders in wax, or silicone that peels off easily if required

the fogs have a catch clip on the opposite side to the two bolts

you need access from behind to release it

although once its been taken out it generally never works again, and they will just slide out

be carefull of the wiring, its only just long enough if you are lucky :o
