FYI:

I thought I'd share my steep learning curve experience with my "mate" Carl from ccmotorsport - www.ccmotorsport.co.uk and also http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Fluid-Artworx

Over 3 months ago I ordered, was billed, and paid by Visa for a DTM chin spoiler for my wife's New Beetle. Well, now 3 months later I haven't received any goods - only a cold shoulder from ccmotorsport. When Carl does reply (extremely rare), he blames slow Emails, spam in his in-tray, denial of service attacks, bad couriers, lost shipments. . . in fact everybody but himself. He has never offered an immeediate refund, he has refused to name the so-called "courier company" (I don't think there ever was one), hasn't furnished tracking shipment numbers/codes, or a manifest. I have now engaged Visa International to try and get my money back.

Q: Has anybody else had a similar experience with online purchases? I've been buying globaly and Ebaying since 1996 and this has been my first sour experience!

Kind regards,

Greg

Stop Press! more Intel. just in:

It would appear that running and maintaining an ethical and speedy online car accessories business has become a tad too much for our Carl Collins and his ccmotorsport.co.uk

When attempting to enter the online shop, you are automatically processed through to

http://www.1stcarshop.co.uk/

I haven't found anything negative on Google regarding this mob. One can only hope they are ethical and actually deliver the goods once they have received payment. Let's hope! My Bank is in the final stages of reversing the 130 Quid I paid to Carl for invisible auto parts. Here's hoping http://www.1stcarshop.co.uk/ deliver!

Cheers,

Sotheby
