Anti-roll Bar Fitting

Seeing as i'm now the proud owner of a set of TTE anti-roll bars  :whistling: could anyone offer me some guidance on how the heck I fit these?

Oh, for a Haynes manual.....  :D

You'll need to get the car well jacked up for access...then it's a direct replacement for the stock bars.

BTW, for the rear ARB, the hole closest to the rear of the car is the stiffest setting

eh, that workshop article takes me back, thats when the Monster was only 3 days old :D

lol, was wondering why the undertray looked so damn shiny!

I was beginning to think you were some kind of anal polishing freak! :D

quick question.

when fitting the bars, do i need new bushes? or is that dependent on the condition of the old ones? or are there no bushes what so ever?

also, is it held on by nuts, so i can use my fecking large torque wrench to undo them?

Nick, it will dependent on your old bushes mate, if thay have never been changed, i think now is a good time.

Yes held on with nuts/bolts, have you put WD on them ?

not yet. I'm gonna get it up on the ramps on saturday weather dependent to take a look, so it makes a bit more sense to me.

Mines came with new bushes.

Unless your car is fairly new (1 year or less) then prepare to have a rough time as the bolts on the drop links are a right pain to undo as the allen key fitting will no doubt round off. Best bet if this happens is to get some small molegrips behind the nut to clamp the thread of the drop link and then take off the bolts.

Quite a few people have given up putting these on. I had to take mine to a professional in the end (charlesworth motors).

Ps don't let me put you off, give it a go but spray the nuts plenty in advance
