Exhaust Question

Hey guys... iam looking to buy an exhaust .. but i was wondering if u all can help me out alittle .. iam looking for some thing to give me gains lets say across the bands .. Low, Mid and High end.. iam intrested in getting somthing that gives me more HP rather than jus noise.

i was looking at the blitz Nur spec .. is this a good exhaust to get ? What do u all recommend.

Hey there ...

Lets be realistic ... you won't get any significant gains via just changing an muffler. If you change the entire exhaust system (from the header backwards), that "may" be a different thing.

As for responsiveness, you may get improvements when putting on the popular exhausts like Nur Spec (as you said), or HKS (Hi Power or Hi Power Silent) or Kazama or FGK (Legalis R or Powergetter).... but only noticeable in the mid/high rev range.

Just so you know, in the low end, you "won't" get any improvements in power ... actually you may lose a bit. However, it will allow the rpms to build a bit quicker, which means you can get up to the high revs quicker. The exhausts mentioned above, do give a bit more responsiveness in the upper rpms.

my fave backbox is the HKS Super Dragger II, obviously this is only from the small collection I have seen/had/heard.

I had that and the Hiper and preferred the Dragger

Not entirely sure that the still manufacture these though? (seem to always be on US eBay though)
