well my plan for a full decat system well went a bit wrong to day :duh: :duh:

as the template the had been used for the decat would have meant doing a bit of a cut and shut which I wouldn't want to do, it's a bit at the mo, also I want to have a full stainless system

so my Q to you is:

where did you get your decat centre section from or what did you do ????

I got the mid pipe with resonator and the exhaust back box from a regular is200

(1) cut the flange off the back box and throw the back box away :D

(2) cut the mid pipe in 2 holding on to the piece with the resonator.

(3) weld a straight pipe from the resonator to the flange fom the back box and now you have a perfect fit altezza de-cat pipe.

I noticed an excellent gain from 1 -4k rpm and it got rid of the annoying flat spot @3500rpm.

Excellent mod for the cost.

Prolex did my cat section at the same time as the manifold - top quality kit and gave a 20rwhp increase!

I have a similar job to cyborguy but I also cut the cat from the 2 into 1 section of my exhaust and welded a flange onto it. I got a custom de-cat made so when it comes to MOT time I simply pop the cat back in for MOT then remove it again after!!

well a new manifold just gone on today :D so there be no probs there

so the is and rs have the same centre section then

may have to do a bit of investigating with the link that you posted cyborgguy

De-cat. Not sure if theres any point doing the mid-section? but if the prices is reasonable i might just for peace of minds sake!

Same place that I used after Daz put me on to them. Very good, quick and cheap too. One of my mates also had a complete system made by these guys for his Supra and he's also a very happy bunny

No....it's the IS and the Tezza AS that share the same centre section
