Accessories For Is250

I am really disappointed at the lack of accessories on offer for the IS250 and 220d. I have heard from an unreliable source (Lexus Australia ) that Lexus Australia will have a range of accessories end of April, but am not convinced. I thought I would help them along by gathering a list of suggestions:

Here's my ideas:

1) Sunglass holder that replaces front ashtray (Available in Japan)

2) Sunshades for front windscreen (Available in Japan)

3) Vertical and horizontal cargo nets (Available in US?)

4) Cargo box (Available in Canada)

5) Adhesive Disposable MM Screen Protectors (Like used on a PDA)

6) Clear bonnet protector (Easy to add/remove for country trips)

7) Headlight protectors (Easy to add/remove for country trips)

Please add others and I will pass them on by email.

I've ordered a cargo net from the USA (they were provided as part of the deal with the cars sold out of Westside Lexus, Houston). Don't know what you mean by vertical and horizontal as there is only one part number available.

The other iten listed is XM or SIRIUS Satellite Radio capability (Spring 2006), but haven't a clue what this is...perhaps someone can enlighten me (us?).

sirrus is basically the US version of DAB, its a subscription satilitte company which provide 1000s of radio stations including BBC radio 1, hope this helps

Picked up the Cargo net yesterday from Westside Lexus, Houston. It's the only one available here for the 250/350 and is the vertical version that holds up to 30 lb of items that would normally roll around in your trunk/boot. Made in Mexico for Toyota but designed for the new IS.

Also ordered the tailored car cover to cut down on the amount of detailing I have to do from leaving my 250 on the drive when I'm away from the UK on long trips. It's tailored around those big 'ears' and also has heat resistant material over the twin exhaust outlets.

The body kit still isn't available until March/April. Will come ready painted in all the new IS colours (the same design has on the car on my avatar). Just need to make sure the Metallic Mica over here is the same as our Cadoxten Slate
