I have a 2003/03 new shape Rx 300 SE Navigator.

Is it worth updating the discs in the sat nav system? A few more roads doesn't interest me. However, if the view of the road offered on the screen were better, with a 3D view per the Tomtom, it might be worth it. Has anybody updated their discs? If so, how much did it cost and what improvement is there?
