Well, yes, but.....old age has SOME benefits. I've seen (And socialised with) some 'legends'; Hendrix, Clapton, George Harrison....and listened to hundreds of guitarists.

Fast electric? Carlos Santana, or Corrado Rustici (Narada Michael Walden.) Both very fast, but also put feeling into their playing; light and shade. Paco de Lucia or Gerardo Nunez in Flamenco are fantastic.

Pat Metheny?

The guy on the video ...well, it takes more than chordal variations. There was no development, no volume change, just riffing over chord structure.

Ah, it was YOU who supplied him in the Sixties......! :winky: Hair still long?

He'll be at Jackson Browne's next show (seeing David Lindley) if you want to catch him. I'm going to go to Barcelona specially to see that show! B)
