The first problem we have had, hardly going to stop the car but, all the same, I would be grateful if anyone has any ideas.

Both mirrors have stopped dipping when reverse is selected. It's a MkIV 2000 LS400

'spose we'll end up going to Lexus to have the thing reset.

I had same problem on my LS430

Solution - Make sure the electric mirror adjuster switch is set to left or right position, if you select the centre position it disables the dipping on the mirror when reverse is selected
