Is200 Sports Edition Ques?

Recommended Posts

I thought the earlier model pre whatever was -10mm then the later / newer model was -15mm

And the older ones were not limited slip diff? :duh:

mines a 2000 model so is it lowered or do i need lowering springs?

It should be lowered at least -10mm. I'd go for some lowering springs anyway mate.

You can tell if you have the LSD or not. Go underneath your car and take a look at it, if it has fins on it then its an LSD, there are some pics somewhere, mines 1999 and has an LSD, i think its just luck more than anything if you have one on a pre 2000 IS200

Kazi

When did they become standard (limited slip) ?

I think, although I could be wrong, 2002 or just after.

Read my earlier reply. My IS200 is a 2000 model and has a LSD as standard

Mine is a 99 Sport model and im sure the suspension is the same as the SE but i only compared by eye, i couldnt find on the forum search any prices on how much it would cost to lower the car,

does anyone know?

Thanks.

Depends how low you want to go......

At the bottom end a set of -30mm springs will cost £150 + fitting

At the top end a set of quality coilovers will set you back £1500 + fitting
