Keyless Entry - Concern

Hello all,

Just wanted to raise a question regarding the keyless entry system. When locking the car, if the boot is left slightly open, the doors will still lock as per normal and from what I can gather, the vehicle does not inform you in any way that the boot has been left open? Surely this is a slight worry?

Am aware that other cars (eg BMW 3 series) do inform you when this happens.

Any thoughts?

The door open sign should be lit on the dashboard but I know what you mean there seems to be a slight disconnect there. I would have thought the car would warn you.
