When I Start Her Up Is200

Good Morning Guys

I've had my 99 IS200 for nearly 3 weeks now and love it BUT......

When I start her up on cold mornings i'm getting a crunching noise for a few seconds as if im forcing the ignition key in the on position? it's only when shes cold every other time shes fine starts like a dream. any ideas?

Is it starter motor Siezin up?

Hi,

Sounds like the starter motor is not engaging fully could be a number of things causing it...

Battery low on power.

Starter cogs/teeth dry or dirty.

Bad or poor connection on the wires to the starter,poor earth etc.

Worn or passed its best starter motor.
