Bit Of Help Please

Recommended Posts

Hello all, not asked a question on here before, have read topics before and enjoy the site.

I have just brought and fitted a K&N typhoon kit for my car (IS300 2002).

I never disconnected the Battery or removed any fuses as it says in instructions, to reset ECU i guess, i never done this because i dont know if i would have to enter a radio code for the standard unit, and not sure if i got a code (i did buy from a Lexus dealer though).

Also i noticed the car sort of held back and didnt seem as powerful when i put my foot down is this because the ECU needed to be reset.

any help will be brilliant.

thanks

Not sure on why the car didnt seem as powerful, but restting the ECU will reduce the the time it takes for the ECU to learn your driving. Run a search on how to reset your ECU. Its only a case of taking out two fuses I think.
