Pc Doing My Head In!

After all my troubles with iPod and iTunes, it all crashed again.

Uninstalled it all to start over and now PC won't talk to the CD Rom drive :tsktsk:

It will open and close but that is it.

Been through Hardware Wizard and it has the drivers installed but says it cannot detect drive "Error 41"

Any idea what this is before I boot the thing out of the window?

Thanks Pete found something similar on teh Microsoft support site, seems to be a known problem, which occurs when installing/uninstalling CD recording software. So when I most recently uninstalled iTunes it bu**ered it.

Just need to work out how to delete the Upper and Lower Filters it says you should .......
