what are the views on these gadgets that you can buy on eBay that can give you extra bhp for £2.99.

please dont rip me apart just wondering if anyone has used one or bought one

Good morning to you too.

This has come up before, from what I can remember the "mod" consists of a resistor which fools the car's brain into thinking the car is cold, thereby injecting more fuel in than normal/ required.

It's bad for your car and best avoided and is basically a waste of £3.
